But the star of the show, the capuccino, wasn't good at all as milk wasn't froathed, turning it to coffee with warm milk. At least staff appreciated the situation and gave me a new one to go that was much better then the first. ”
“ Great coffee place but the coffee is expensive. I love coffee and walked by cafe 18 and decided to give it a try. The coffee was very smooth and good. Mind you this is their base coffee they brewed mine with. The prices for the coffee you drink aren’t bad about average for the higher end coffee places. Had an almond croissant and actually was oneof the better ones I have had in bogota. So their coffee you can buy. Obviously this coffee place is more for the tourist and the coffee prices reflect that. Not saying it’s bad coffee but some of the most expensive I have seen in bogota. I did buy a few bags to brew on my own to see the taste. Is the price of this coffee worth it? I don’t know honestly until I try it and compare it to other brands of high quality but lower price. For now I would say it’s good, but pricey. Once I try the types I bought I will be able to tell you if the high prices are justified. For now I will say it is good to stop in and worth trying. ”

“ World-class coffee, and so many to choose from. But this is their biggest strength: very few specialty coffee stores have such a wide selection, AND you can try all of them. I can't overstate this - coffee variation is enormous, and tasting the stuff you'll be hauling back home on a long flight is fundamental. The staff is patient, knowledgeable, and super nice. Would have enjoyed a coffee "tasting menu" of sorts, but I understand it's hard to do it properly. I will return, have your stock ready ”
